ANZ Timor Leste today officially launched Internet Banking in Timor Leste, providing customers with a safe, secure and convenient way to bank online. ANZ is the first bank in Timor Leste to introduce internet banking.
ANZ Timor Leste Chief Executive Officer Mr Brian Robb said: “We’re pleased to today officially launch Internet Banking to our customers in Timor Leste. It will provide our customers with a convenient and easy to use alternative to traditional over-the-counter transactions, giving them an instant online experience that can be performed anywhere and at any time. Essentially it’s banking at your fingertips.”
“Our business customers will also be able to use Internet Banking for their banking needs and to help manage payments. This is another way we can help our customers by simplifying the way they run their businesses,” Mr Robb said.
Key features of Internet Banking:
· 24 hour online access
· View your transaction and account history, including term deposit and loan account activity
· Quickly move money between accounts and to other people, using the Funds Transfer feature
· Ability to self manage and set scheduled payments
· Request bank drafts, statements and make local and international transfers without having to visit a branch
· Secure and backed by the ANZ Internet Banking Guarantee.
ANZ customers can register for Internet Banking by completing the form available online at www.anz.com/timorleste and submitting to any ANZ branch. Internet Kiosks have also been set up at ANZ branches to demonstrate the new Internet Banking service to customers and staff will be available to assist them with how to register.
This is really good news for the ANZ customers.Today internet banking is the most used way of banking and all banks are now introducing this facility for their customers.
